Our Vision - “Harvest & Restoration”
1. Harvest - (Matthew 28:20) - We are told in the Great Commission that Jesus has given us authority and as His disciples we are to make disciples of all nations (races). The word, “disciple” means “student or disciplined student.” We believe that the church is about to reap the greatest harvest of souls in the history of the Church. The people who make up this harvest must be discipled.
2. House to House - (Acts 5:42) - In the pattern laid out in the book of Acts, they not only met in the temple, but they met house to house. The Word says they devoted themselves to the Apostle’s teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread and to prayer. As they did these things the Bible says that God added to their numbers daily those who were being saved . We believe that home groups are a vital part of New Testament church life.
3. Equip - (Ephesians 4:11-16) - We believe that God has given the five - fold ministry for the equipping of the saints to do the work of the ministry. For too long, believers have been taught that the full-time ministers are to do all the work of the ministry, We believe every person has a calling in God - seeds of destiny that God has placed in their heart - that must be watered and cultivated in order to release their potential.
4. Restoration - (Hag 2:9) - Haggai prophesied that the glory of the latter house would be greater than the former house. Since that temple was never greater than Solomon’s temple, we believe that Haggai was prophesying about the New Testament Church. We believe that Jesus is coming back for a restored church, even greater than it was in the book of Acts. That means Apostolic church government (five fold ministry), signs and wonders, Davidic worship, gifts of the Spirit, ect. Jesus is coming for a bride without spot or wrinkle!
We believe that according to 1 Corinthians 12:18, God sets the members in the body as it pleases Him - not the members. If your spirit bears witness with this vision, God may be calling you to be a part of this body.
